Slug control 100% and most humane

This is probably the most humane way to control slugs and barring something unusual it is 100% effective. This video shows how to install and test the electric slug control fence in a raised bed garden.
I stapled 2 parallel runs of galvanized wire around the raised bed and connected them to a 9-volt battery.This fence is an improvement over my earlier fences where I used aluminum welding wire. The aluminum wire is more fragile and usually lasts just one year. You can speed the video up 2X by selecting the little gear symbol at the bottom of the video. Update: I am currently using stainless steel welding wire that is 0.8 mm. Highly recommend this wire as, along with SS staples, you should get years of service. The spool of SS welding wire that I bought was about $45 but I have enough to last a life time length is not stated on the spool.
