Armadillo is developed on the basis of the draft BMP CV-90. The tower was dismantled, which increased internal volume and increase the mass of the payload transported. The crew of the basic version of the BTR three people, including a commander, gunner and driver. BBM is capable of carrying at least 8 people landing.
