We visited the Chelan Ridge Raptor Migration Project site at Chelan Ridge, Washington Chelan Ridge Important Bird Area in early October 2009. Not many raptors moving through that day, but a female Golden Eagle was captured and tagged while we were there. We witnessed and filmed her release back to the skies, where she continued her southward migration.
